Adorable baby goats fall asleep in people’s laps

It’s no secret that one of the most objectively adorable moments is when a baby animal falls asleep in your arms. It turns out that holds true for goats as well.

At Sunflower Farms Creamery, hundreds of people visit the farm in the spring to hold the baby goats. This treatment is more than just a way to bring people to the farm.

This practice also helps acclimate the little ones to people, so that by the time they are 5-6 weeks old and ready to find new homes, they are comfortable with humans.

But if you’ve ever held a baby animal, you know that the healing is mutual. “I don’t know who’s enjoying it more, him or me,” one man said, a big grin on his face.

Many people from all different walks of life come to hold the little ones. But they were unified by love, calm and happiness once a baby goat was asleep in their lap.

The owner of the farm reflected that these moments were a joy to witness as well as experience. Over the years, she watched people come in with so many thoughts on their minds, but all those worries melted away as they held a sleeping baby goat in their arms.

While the owner was sad to see these goats leave for their new homes, she knew that wherever they went, they would continue to bring happiness into the lives of those around them.

Share because your action will give animals a voice.
