Khanyisa, a baby elephant, enjoyed drinking her milk bottles during a beautiful African sunset. She was with her herd of elephants as they walked past a dam.
The majestic sunset was behind them and reflecting onto the water. Clouds scattered across the sky as the elephants walked in a straight line towards their home.
Many of the elephants are adults, with Khanyisa being the youngest of the herd. She is growing bigger and stronger every day, and the herd works hard to keep an eye on her along with the caretakers of the sanctuary.
It is a spectacular sight with the elephants’ reflections across the water. Their pace is slow and sure. Khanyisa is excited because she knows it is time for her to drink milk.
Her caretakers call for her, and she runs faster and faster. Khanyisa’s gait turns into a sprint as she gets closer to where her caretakers are waiting for her.
Nearby there are some goats that follow Khanyisa, and they seem curious about what’s happening. Khanyisa finally sees her caretakers, and they feed her two bottles of milk.
She folds her trunk over her face and happily drinks from the bottles as her caretakers tip them into her mouth. The bottles are massive, but Khanyisa has no issue with emptying them both. She is a satisfied elephant with a tail wagging like a dog.
