Little boy loves his little sister, a Bernese Mountain Dog

While some children might choose to write a letter to Santa Claus or their mom or maybe their favorite teacher, Joey decided to write a letter to his little sister, a Bernese Mountain Dog puppy named Tilley.

For some children, becoming an older sibling can be a mixed bag of emotions. But when Joey found out he was going to be a “big, big brother” to Tilley, “[he]wanted to be [her] best friend.”

And that was what they were. Joey and Tilley played together all day, running around the yard and playing chase, but Joey’s favorite game he and his sister played together was “when [she] steals something and [Joey] had to catch [her].”

But the two siblings did more than just play. “I love cuddling with you because you feel like a big, fluffy pillow,” Joey told Tilley in his letter. And Tilley seemed to feel the same, giving her big brother lots of kisses when they snuggled.

Tilley also seemed to love getting pets from her boy, lounging with him on the couch even as she got bigger. “Tilley has a blast doing this,” Joey explained, giving her some extra rubs on her belly.

Even though his little sister constantly steals his socks, which earned her the title of a “sock monster” and “sock thief,” Joey could not have loved his sister more than he did.

Even as Tilley grew bigger than him, Joey still thought of his sister as the “cutest thing in the world.” “Thank you for making me giggle,” Joey told his little sister. “I love you, Till Till. You are my sweet baby girl.”
