Foxes, beautiful and cunning creatures, often find themselves wandering the neighborhoods of Atlanta, particularly in the springtime when they’re training their young kits. It’s a sight to behold, watching them teach their young ones how to catch small rodents and birds, and sometimes even family pets.
But what happens when one of these clever creatures finds itself in a desperate situation? A local resident of Atlanta recently found himself face to face with just such a predicament.
In his backyard, he spotted a little red fox struggling desperately. The poor creature’s paw had become trapped in a tree, leaving it unable to free itself. The sight must have stirred the man’s heart, for instead of turning away, he decided to help.
Now, helping a wild animal is no simple task, I must tell you. I recall in my days as a veterinarian, how many times I faced such wild souls in distress. They’re scared, unsure of our intentions, and often injured.
