Isabelle is a wild jackdaw who flew in one morning and decided that Irene would be her new family. It started two months ago when Irene saw Isabelle outside her kitchen door.

She gave Isabelle food, and it was accepted. Isabelle was still a bit shy, but the following day she greeted Irene in the same place. Every morning she was there to see Irene.
When Irene goes out to water the plants, Isabelle will be there to keep her company. Isabelle would be out there for hours and not go anywhere else.

Irene suddenly had a beautiful new friend who made her smile and laugh. Then Isabelle started going into her house. She enjoyed hanging out in the kitchen with Irene.
Isabelle is only allowed in the kitchen and living room because Irene has two cats that may not be so gentle with a wild bird. Irene’s youngest daughter visited and formed a strong bond with Isabelle.

At first, Isabelle was timid around Irene’s daughter. Then the next morning, they were best friends, and Isabelle suddenly had a lot to say. While Irene’s daughter read a book, Isabelle would stick her head toward the pages.
Isabelle even has a jackdaw friend she has been bringing with her. Irene never knew a bird could bring them so much joy and love. She likes to call Isabelle an angel who came flying in.
