Hope For Paws is a non-profit animal rescue organization that works hard for the rescue of animals that are suffering on the streets and in shelters of Los Angeles. They have successfully completed an astounding number of wonderful rescues using Eldad’s magic leash and cheeseburgers.
This time, they received a call about a sick and homeless dog that was in need of rescue. Fortunately, a neighbor had been feeding the dog while looking for help. The rescuers noticed right away that she was blind in one eye and would need medical treatment, but they were up for the task. It was this dog’s lucky day when this neighbor called Hope For Paws.
She was in a very bad condition. A lot of her fur was missing due to flea infestation. On the way to the vet, Eldad named her Phannie after a dog he had loved. Aww. There were no serious injuries to deal with, but her eye was injured and needed immediate attention. She was easily captured with the lucky leash and cheeseburgers and seemed quite happy to go with Eldad.
Shortly after she was rescued, Phannie underwent surgery that restored her vision. She is in a safe place now and made fast friend’s with a Frenchie that belongs to her foster mom. Phannie is looking for her forever home, but at least she’s safe, happy, and healthy until she finds one.
