A Bull Terrier Named Lily Croons To Ed Sheeran, See To Believe This!

One of my favorite things to watch are dogs singing along with music. They can be quite harmonious sometime and it’s funny to see the reactions of their mommies and daddies. Some dogs have even made it onto talent shows. One dog sang Dolly Parton/Whitney Houston’s “I Wil Always Love You” on a talent show. While not quite in that caliber, I did love this video of a Bull Terrier named Lilly doing her best rendition of a recent hit.

Lilly’s mommy, YouTube user “Amba Rose”, is holding her up to her camera phone. Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud” is playing and the pooch starts howling along with the song. She’s definitely heard this tune before, since she knows when to pause. It’s so adorable Amba Rose says in the comments that she’s not laughing at what Lilly is doing because she’s afraid she might drop her… or the phone. In either case, we’re glad she focused on what she was doing when recording.

I love seeing videos like this. It’s a great way for both the dog and the parent to enjoy the song… though perhaps later Amba Rose might want to listen to it on headphones to be able to enjoy the whole thing. I think Lilly would be a great addition for any subsequent music videos that Sheeran makes, though it would help if MTV showed music videos with any regularity again. Sorry, I’m a child of the ‘80s. I still miss those days.

Some people think that Lilly was howling because the music hurt her ears. If the music was really bothering her that much, she would have been wriggling like mad to try to get out of her mommy’s arms and away from the sound. I mean, I’m not a fan of Ed Sheeran and don’t really listen to his music, but she seemed to be enjoying howling along with the song. It seems like there are always some people intent on ruining a fun moment.
