Bulldog’s favorite toys are his bowls

He was clearly a baker in another life and needs his mixing bowls.

Theo the Bulldog was not unique for his love of toys, but what he considered toys was different from most dogs. Ever since he was a puppy, Theo loved bowls.

As long as they were metal, Theo was a happy boy. He liked big bowls and small bowls, bowls with lids and without lids. As long as they were round, he would play with them.

Theo was generally a relaxed and mellow dog, happy to lay around and cuddle, but when the bowls came out, it was a different story. “The only time he ever really showed any sort of energy is whenever he’s kicking the bowls around the house.”

Sometimes, Theo would carry one of his bowls with him to bed. “It’s almost like a pacifier, like a security blanket,” said Theo’s dad, Andrew. “I think he feels comfortable whenever he has one.”

While Andrew has always been bewildered by Theo’s behavior, he accepts him all the same, making sure he had plenty of clean bowls to play with whenever he wanted. One day, Andrew even ordered a special delivery for his pup.

When the package arrived, Andrew left it open outside for Theo to investigate. At first, Theo sniffed around the box, but when he looked inside, he burst into excitement.

Andrew had ordered 20 new bowls for his goofy Bulldog, and Theo was as happy as could be, kicking around his new toys and carrying them back and forth in his mouth. “He is the happiest dog in the world,” said Andrew.
