They did absolutely everything together. Wherever the cat went, the dog was right behind, whether the cat was looking out the window or begging for a treat in the kitchen.
The two even slept together in the same small bed. The dog would guide the cat into place and snuggle closely together. When the cat and dog were not in their donut bed, the dog would still lean into the cat.
