He Was Being Cruelly Bullied At School. When He Meets This Dog? I Got CHILLS!

Everybody knows that adopting a dog can completely turn someone’s life around, and it’s always for the better. We’ve shared quite a few stories that demonstrate this, but this one might be one of the most touching of them all. A dog didn’t just make a boy happier, he practically saved his life from the depression caused by constant bullying and social isolation.

Service dogs can make amazing improvements giving therapy to people suffering from trauma or illnesses, but a physical medical condition isn’t the only thing that might make you need one of them. Sometimes, young people just need someone to bind their whole lives together and help them find their own identity, and this was the case of Nathan Selove.

When Nathan was only 9 years old, he was diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome, which is a condition similar to high-functioning autism that made him much less social oriented that other kids of his age. He was having a lot of trouble in school because of this, and since he did not have any social interest in the first place, he had no idea how to solve it himself. But as you’ll see in the video below, a furry friend just might have saved his life!
