Dachshunds are often called sausage or wiener dogs because of their long bodies and short legs. They are really adorable with their elongated bodies, aren’t they? But looking cute is not the only thing they are good at! You are going to be in hysterics when you see what this family discovered their little dogs could do!
As the family puts it, their three Dachshunds are miniature, exuberant, and fun-loving. They say that they have the combined stamina of an ox and the speed of a greyhound. In this clip, we can see these cute little pooches getting together to give two of family members a chariot ride. It looks like they are really enjoying themselves and the weight of the person behind them hasn’t fazed them in the least!
You won’t believe how these girls made their “chariot” so that they dogs could pull it. It’s a skateboard! They put the harnesses on the dogs and connected them with a leather strap to a wooden pole. The girls hold the pole while sitting on the skateboard.
Once the dogs are ready, they take off and pull the kids behind them. They look like they are having a blast! The dogs, I mean. They are really fast and they must be strong to pull the weight of these teenage girls on a skateboard in the grass. This is really amusing to watch.
