Dancing dogs wow AGT judges with their heart-tugging routine

For most fur parents, training a dog consists of potty training and teaching them to sit, stay or maybe play dead. But these contestants on America’s Got Talent took their training to the next level.

Christine Elisabeth Berczes was the owner of Glamour Aussies, which was a dancing school for dogs. Over the years, her dogs have performed in countless competitions and won many awards.

Originally from Hungary, Christine traveled thousands of miles to show what she and her talented Australian Shepherd, Meredith could do. The judges had no idea what they were about to witness.

From the start of the song, it was apparent that this was more than a dog that could dance. This was a dog that could perform. As she crawled toward her owner and rolled over, you could see the story unfolding before your eyes.

While most dog dancers would offer signals to their dogs to lead them through the next movement, Christine kept her hands on her book. This only drove home the idea that Meredith was trying to get her attention.

As the melancholy song continued, Meredith continued to up the ante of her performance. She wove in between Christine’s legs and hopped around on two legs. Every step Meredith took, her eyes were on Christine.

Words will not do this surprisingly emotional performance justice. If you are a dog lover like us, you will probably be in tears by the end of Meredith and Christine’s dance, too.
