This video is going to make you feel terrible when you learn about the dog meat farms that exist! I know people do eat dog meat, but did not realize that they would operate so openly. I could not believe my eyes when I saw huge numbers of dogs caged.
When the Humane Society heard there were dogs just waiting to be killed for meat at this South Korean dog farm, they knew they had to act. And watching them save not only the dogs, but the farmer, will brighten your day. God bless their rescue efforts! Thank God this miracle happened and the farmer would change for good. I am so happy to see happy ending.
There were 23 dogs at this farm, just being fed and watered so they could grow up, only to be slaughtered for meat. Their treatment was not humane. They were in cages and received no love or attention. Their reaction to being rescued was to love and shower their rescuers with kisses.
These dogs have now been brought to the United States where they will be evaluated both medically and emotionally to find out if they are ready for adoption. You can watch them playing with their toys and finally feeling safe. The farmer has agreed to start raising blueberries rather than dogs, so this is happy ending for him too. Hopefully he will find blueberries more rewarding.
