A big family of 200 tiny ducklings were playing amongst themselves, unaware that danger may be lurking near them in the form of a very big dog. But this big dog knew he wasn’t a danger and decided he was going to protect all 200 of them, just in case danger decided to make an appearance. This dog didn’t mean any harm at all to them. Quite the opposite actually. You dog owners out there know that most dogs are, by nature, friendly with any animal they meet if they’re not threatened, and the more friends they have and can enjoy, the better for them.
In this clip there are 207 ducklings, to be exact. There are so many of them, in fact, they are climbing on top of each other and piling up on themselves. This dog’s strong maternal instincts kick in and she gets all excited by the fuzzy little ducklings, falling in love with each and every one of them. It is one of the cutest things I’ve seen in a long time. It makes me not only want the dog, but the ducklings too!
She’s just a big, furry puppy really, but she seems to truly love and care for these helpless little duck friends, and she seems to realize that she’s really just a gentle giant and that they aren’t afraid of her at all. She very mindful of her size, careful not to hurt the ducks. I’ve never seen such a heartwarming relationship between dog and duck. I’ve watched this video at least ten times and I’m sure you will too, just for the warm, fuzzy feeling it gives.
