When we think of animals we think of all the usual traits that most everyone else thinks of. We think of how big they are, where they live, the noises they make and maybe the food they eat. We rarely think of who they spend their time with or if they make friends easily.
What is really surprising to many people is that often times animals share many personality traits as people do. Many of them are just searching for the perfect person to hang out with and once they find that individual they are inseparable. Well that takes us to this featured video.
In this video you will meet a loving Asian elephant named Tarra. Tarra lives in a sanctuary where other female elephants who are retired go to live out the remainder of their lives. These female elephants all pair off with one another and the pairs are best friends and do everything together. Well Tarra’s best friend is a bit unusual, a dog named Bella!
Tarra and Bella do everything together. The two are thick as thieves so when Bella got a back injury and had to stay indoors for three weeks Tarra kept vigil outside her best friends window waiting for the chance to see her friend again. Bella soon was well and the two were reunited. These two are great examples of what a friendship should be.
