World Animal Awareness Society (WA2S) and Unity For A Solution members were observing and documenting stray dogs in the Houston area when they came across Anna, a German Shepherd. Anna was seen roaming the streets and scouring garbage cans for food. When they filmed, they saw many cars pass by, without paying any attention to the abandoned dog.
So this team stopped to help Anna. Kurt Geurdrum carried out the rescue with the assistance of Angela Madeksho. If you ever come across a stray dog, please help them. If you have doubts going near them, you should contact the professionals. Fortunately, Anna was actually really friendly and very curious about what was in the trunk of the car.
They put out some food for her and she readily accepted, and then with very little effort, they managed to get a leash on her. She actually seemed to enjoy all of the attention and was even curious about the camera. When she finished eating, some people were asking what would happen now that they had her. They were concerned she would be put down
But that is not the case. This friendly girl is going for a checkup and a bath, and she’ll be ready to adopt. The rescuers said they could even send her to another state if they found her a home outside of Texas. They are highly adoptable dogs.
