If you were ever forced to entertain a younger cousin or sibling growing up, you know how exhausting it can be to play with someone who has a lot more energy than you. That was how Rocky the German Shepherd seemed to feel when he saw this adorable puppy.
Rocky seemed curious about his small friend at first. He bent down to sniff the little one, but the puppy was fixated on one thing: playing with the German Shepherd.
While Rocky tried to introduce himself in traditional canine fashion, the puppy tried to nip at his face. But Rocky was a gentle giant. He retreated to the relative safety of the couch to evade the playful pup.
But that safety did not last long. The puppy could not jump onto the couch, but he could reach Rocky. So, the puppy started biting at his mouth. Still, Rocky was patient with his tiny friend.
His teeth might have looked scary, but even when the energetic puppy had his entire head in Rocky’s mouth, the German Shepherd did not bite. Instead, he just nibbled on the smaller dog.
Finally, the German Shepherd seemed to have had enough fun. He sat up on the couch out of reach of the short-legged puppy. When the puppy realized this, he let out a yip of annoyance.
