It was a sunny day out on the water when a group of boaters spotted a Sea Lion not too far from them. The skies were clear, and the ocean was deep and blue.
They stop the boat, and surprisingly the Sea Lion begins to swim towards them. At first, it looks like the animal is fine, but it appears that she is more than just curious.
Later on, the Sea Lion is given the name Amber. She tries to climb aboard the boat, and the people see that she is actually hurt. The intelligent creature is asking for help.
Amber is by the step ladder, and she is having trouble climbing it. Some of the boaters encourage her to come closer as they don’t want to scare her away.
Instead of touching her, someone lifts the step ladder, so it is easier for Amber to walk onto the safety of the boat. It takes some time, but she finally makes it aboard.
Amber looked relieved and started to relax under the watch of the boaters. She basked in the sun, and her coat was beautiful and shiny.
Her rescuers took her ashore, and she was taken in by animal rescue. Amber was given rehab, where she recovered, and she was released back to the ocean a few months later.
