In downtown LA two women got the experience of their lives when a red-tailed hawk landed on the front of their car. They drove around with the bird on the hood of their car for 15 minutes before he flew off, happy as can be.
The two women call a friend for advice, but of course, with a story as crazy as this one, no normal advisor would do. So they called their pal Ken Nolan, who wrote the script for “Black Hawk Down.” Seems appropriate to us.
A hawk expert in the comments on the Youtube video shared some fascinating insight into what’s going on here: “Young bird just fledged, [recently left nest] doesn’t really know what it’s doing, learning what life’s about, probably just left the nest a week or two ago if not that very day.”
