For most people who comb their hair in the mornings, this daily ritual is just a banal, necessary part of the day. But at the home of the two otters, Kotaro and Hana, combing their fur was an adorable event.
While one of her parents lay on the bed, Hana decided to hop up to get snuggles. As she wriggled around the bed, she let out the cutest little squeaks.
Her squeaks only got louder as her human parent got out the silver comb and began brushing her fur. When her parent started combing against the grain, Hana seemed uncertain about whether or not she liked it.
But within moments, she seemed to decide that she enjoyed being pet this way. Kotaro settled into her person and relaxed. Cuddled into the crook of her parent’s arm, Hana began to yawn.
Hana’s squeaks became slower, and her eyes started to droop closed. Cuddled into the crook of her parent’s arm, Hana began falling asleep, eyes closing tighter and tighter with each stroke of the metal comb.
After a nice little nap, Hana woke up and began crawling over her parent again, but Kotaro, her sister, got jealous of her sister and jumped up to take her place.
Not long after, Kotaro was receiving the same treatment as her sister. Just moments after her parent began combing her, Kotaro was nestled into her parent’s arm and fast asleep.
