We like to imagine that our fur babies will be with us for their whole lives, but sometimes circumstances do not allow us to keep our pets forever. That was the case for this woman and her dogs, but whatever happened to her, she was determined to find her pups a good home.
When Lee Asher heard that this woman was driving around town trying to find a loving home for her three dogs, he decided he would come and give these three pups a new forever home.
It was clear when Lee arrived that this woman loved her dogs so much. She even made a tasty meal of steaks for her fur babies, one last treat before they headed off to their new homes.
While the mama dog was quick to greet Lee, the two puppies were scared to come out. Lee found them hiding under a makeshift dog house in the backyard. Gently, he called the puppies out of the dog house.
Lee brought the puppies out to the car first and came back for the mama dog. As he walked out the door, he made sure to let the woman know that if she needed anything, he would be happy to reach out.
As he drove the dog family down the road, Lee pointed out that it is important to have grace for people who need to give up their animals. “You just never know what someone’s going through.”
In no time at all, all three dogs found their perfect forever homes thanks to Lee’s help. The woman could rest easy knowing that these dogs would be happy and safe for the rest of their lives.
