Meet Ghost, the lost and alone dog who had no choice but to join a coyote pack for months to survive until he was rescued. But as time passed, something seemed off. One resident noticed that Ghost walked with a limp and feared it could lead to his demise if his pack of coyotes turned against him. That’s when the Southern Nevada Trapping Team stepped in to help capture Ghost, and what they found was worse than anyone could have imagined.
Ghost had multiple bite marks all over his body, an eye and ear infection, a broken toe that needed to be amputated, and his scrotum had to be removed. But despite living with coyotes for months, Ghost’s desire for human love and attention still took over.
“He is the sweetest, most loving dog,” said Timi Zondiros, one of the rescuers. And now, with the help of a GoFundMe campaign, Ghost’s medical needs are being met, and he’s on the road to finding his forever home.
