When Baby Reese joined the canine family of Harlow and Sage, he encountered a strange and foreboding fourth dog, a dog that seemed to live on the other side of the mirror.
While it might sound silly, think about it from Baby Reese’s perspective. If you were a happy, playful Dachshund like Baby Reese, what would you do when you encountered a mystery dog that smelled like no other dog you had ever met?
Baby Reese was beginning to get comfortable with his new surroundings and his loving family when he encountered this other, strange Dachshund living on the other side of the mirror.
So, naturally, Baby Reese tried to get to know him, but he was surprised when the Dachshund rushed up to meet him, and he bumped into the invisible barrier to the “other room” where this strange dog lived.
While his parent watched behind a camera (somehow without laughing), Baby Reese tried again and again to meet his new friend, but every time, the mirror kept getting in his way.
He tried bonking into it, pawing the glass, biting at the other puppy and sniffing to see if there might be some other way through, but the dastardly glass outmaneuvered him.
While the adorable Baby Reese was not successful in his investigations, one thing was certain: this puppy’s efforts are a joy to watch. Check out this video and more on the dogs’ Instagram page!
