The San Diego Zoo celebrated centennial this year. But that is not the only special thing going on for them. This year on the 25th of May, the zoo got a new family member in the form of a very adorable giraffe calf. This precious baby has been grabbing the attention of many people, and lots of them visit the zoo in order to admire him.
The little guy is healthy and he came into the world standing 6 feet tall and weighing around 146 pounds. Not very large, right? Compared to his mom, Harriet, and the rest of the giraffes, the youngster is quite small. But what he lacked in size, he compensated with his enthusiasm. You will be smiling from ear to ear when you see him.
