Meet the English Setter with the Longest Tongue Ever

Get ready to be amazed because there’s a new world record in town! Bisbee, an English setter from Tucson, Arizona, has made it to the Guinness World Records book for having the longest tongue on a living dog. Can you believe it? His tongue measures 3.74 inches, longer than a popsicle stick!

Bisbee’s owners, Jay and Ericka Johnson, fell in love with him at a charity auction and quickly noticed his tongue. They say he looks funny when he pants, and his tongue comes out quite away when he exercises. They decided to have it measured, and the vet confirmed that Bisbee had indeed broken the previous record.

But Bisbee isn’t just a record-breaking dog; he’s also very affectionate and loves to follow his owners around and cuddle. He has hip dysplasia but still enjoys walking and swimming in the pool during summer.

The previous record holder was a St. Bernard named Mochi, with a tongue measuring 7.31 inches. Unfortunately, Mochi passed away in 2021, making Bisbee the new titleholder.

Jay and Ericka are proud of their dog’s unique achievement and feel lucky to have him in their lives. Bisbee is truly one-of-a-kind, and his record-breaking tongue is just the beginning of his charm.
