There’s nothing quite like a nice, relaxing session in the hot tub after a long day. The hot water pounding out of those jets can work wonders for aching muscles and help you mentally unwind. You would think this sort of relaxation would be strictly for humans. After all, pets don’t work in the usual sense. But in fact, there’s a dog that likes nothing better than a dip in the hot tub.
Cuzzie is an adorable Puggle (a pug-beagle crossbreed) who delights in having sessions in the hot tub. His introduction to the water came from hopping around on inflatables and floating around in the family pool. But then he discovered the hot tub.
As you’ll see in the video we’ve posted, he’s got soaking in the hot tub down to a fine art. As his human dad Danny Sam describes it, “Cuzzie loves the jet in the hot tub against his back. He will hop in and press against the jet and croon his pleasure.” And this he does, making hilarious little noises while wiggling to get the full effect of the bubbling water. The best part is how obviously happy the little guy is. Although this clip is only about a minute long, we’re told Cuzzie’s hot tub session lasted five minutes. If this dog is eccentric, he’s crazy in a good way and is definitely enjoying life.
But what’s really crazy is that such an adorable dog came close to being put to sleep. Fortunately, his new human mom rescued him, one of a number of dog she’s saved. Thank to her, Cuzzie is happy, healthy, and even has a hot tub!
