As any pet owner will tell you, every day with a fur baby is an adventure. That was doubly true for this household because of their unique fur children, a pair of otters named Kotaro and Hana.
One of the otters’ favorite places to be was the bed. While some dogs might use a bed for a long afternoon nap, these otters decided it was the perfect place to have a wrestling match.
Kotaro started things off by trying to play with his owner’s computer and switched to wrestling his parent’s hand instead. Kotaro “tapped out” when he started to lose, but unbeknownst to Kotaro, an unseen assailant waited to challenge him.
The second Kotaro’s parent moved away, Hana rushed on the offensive, pinning her sibling in a play fight, but Kotaro was not about to be bested. He wriggled free and chomped his sister’s foot.
At first, Hana looked like she was bested, but then she seemed to lean back as if she liked having her brother bite her foot like it was a “foot massage.”
But even otters could not play forever. Eventually, it was time to get ready for bed. For Kotaro, that meant it was time to start cleaning himself up, which he did with the most adorable squeaks.
After a long day of fun in Kotaro and Hana’s home, Kotaro and Hana settled in for a well-earned sleep. If today was any indication, they would need all the energy they could get for another big day tomorrow.
