This is a story about Pigeon. Well, not a pigeon but a puppy named Pigeon. That might not be an average dog name, but Pigeon isn’t exactly an average dog.

Pigeon was injured in a car crash that rendered her back legs unusable. She was turned over to some new owner, Erica. The dog seems to love her new home with similar dogs who all love to play.
But life isn’t easy for a dog who can only use two legs. She can pull herself with her front paws, which can get exhausting. It can be frustrating for this high-energy dog to have moved so slowly.

Fortunately, there was a solution to Pigeon’s need for speed. Erica had taken in dogs with similar issues and had wheelchairs made for them. She contacted the developer and had another wheelchair made just for Pigeon.
Once the wheelchair is attached, Pigeon takes off with great speed. You can see just how happy the dog is to move again with ease finally.

The owners have stated that Pigeon has gotten used to using the wheelchair. She will bark when she wants it to be placed on her body. Once attached, she’ll do laps or fetch.
Pigeon’s spirits seem to be high with her new wheelchair. She can finally get those zoomies out around the house or in the yard. There’s no more being left behind when the other dogs start playing.
Dog owners care for their fur babies in different ways. For Erica, she’s given Pigeon another chance to feel the rush of a dash around the grass. Judging by Pigeon’s ecstatic expression, she couldn’t be happier.
