Dogs have many fears and sources of confusion that I don’t think we will ever be able to understand. We may understand to a degree, but seeing in black and white can add dimensions or shadows that we just can’t perceive. It seems to be more of a case-by-case basis when it comes to dogs and balloons. It just depends on the dog. It’s all about what you are willing to put in. If you spend day after day exercising with your dog, that habit will take over and become hardwired into their brains as part of the routine. The same thing applies to people.
Yet when one noble husky finds a cat, all bets are off. It appears he may be a bit confused. This cat doesn’t have fur, doesn’t meow, is on a leash, and most importantly of all- is floating in the air. These many different qualities should let the husky know, this isn’t a real cat. Rather a balloon. However, we can all be fooled by things we didn’t expect. It certainly leaves for a great laugh later. I know I’ve done that for sure. Had an experience that I thought was terrifying or an object that I didn’t see correctly, that ended up with me being terrified, horrified even. Then the following few seconds were nothing but laughter.
When you see the reaction the inflatable cat balloon gets? I’m positive you’ll be doubled over, grabbing your sides from laughing so hard.
