The miracle of life is an amazing sight to see. Thanks to the Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding and Research Base in southwest China’s Sichuan Province, the miraculous life cycle of Pandas can be witnessed firsthand.
Giant pandas are indigenous to China’s southwestern region which makes research and observation of their life simpler than for those elsewhere in the world. Panda pregnancies are relatively short and last about five months, and their births are even quicker.
This momma panda gives birth to two beautifully precious twin cubs like a champ. Her birth is quick which may be attributed to the small size of her babies. They weigh only 3.5 ounces, which is equivalent to a 28-week-old human fetus.
Regardless of the size of these cubs when they’re born, they’re expected to grow to about 400 times its birth weight, which is between 150 and 250 pounds. All is truly remarkable regardless of genes.
