Bengal Cats are among the most majestic and graceful of the feline family. This is the case of two sister cats Lyra and Serafina, who make it look fun and enjoyable as they exercise using a cat wheel.
With their energy and playful nature aside, these cats are natural gymnasts, dexterous and graceful. Their appearance and muscular bodies resemble those of cats living in the bush. However, they still do possess an affectionate trait towards human friends.
Bengal cats took their name from the Asian leopard cat and were created by crossbreeding the Asian leopard cat with the domestic short-haired cat. Their size varies from medium to large, and they can weigh up to 15 pounds.
The Bengals are brilliant cats and are enjoyable to live with, though, at times, this may be a challenge. Their alertness makes them easy to teach and perform tricks. Bengals like perching in high places and may climb the tallest tree around the house.
Their love of water is insatiable. The Bengal will play anywhere from the pool, your bath tab, and even the aquarium. If given a chance, these cats will also drink water directly from the tap and go fishing in your pond.
The cat’s short thick fur is easy to look after by weekly soft brushing to remove dead hair strands and evenly spread skin oils. Ears should be checked and cleaned occasionally, as well as trimming of nails.
This video shows the grace and beauty of Bengal cats up close and personal, as well as in slow motion.
