Nicole and Matthew recently adopted Layla, a Pitbull puppy. They found an advert for a shelter that said, “This dog can’t stop smiling and wanted to be adopted so bad.” Nicole knew she had to adopt Layla.
She reached the shelter and asked for the “Smiling Dog.” Nicole found her to be adorable. Her eyes were so soft and so pretty. The little puppy immediately burrowed her head in the nook of the couple’s neck.
The puppy could melt the heart of anyone who held her. Layla was found on one of the main highways and was pretty close to being hit. Nicole and Matthew were the first ones to come for the puppy.
Soon, Layla arrived at her new home and was very happy to explore the house. The couple had 3 other pet dogs, and it was now time to introduce Layla to the other siblings.
Layla acted very confidently when she met the other dog siblings. She walked up to their pet dog, Lady, and bit her collar. So naturally, the little puppy wanted to play with her. The couple’s other dog Sadie, who was like a walking cotton ball, acted like Layla never existed for the first few days. However, they soon became great pals and did everything together.
Brutus, the black Labrador, took a long time to warm up to Layla. Nicole guessed he was not used to any other dogs trying to get into his bed and found it totally unacceptable. But soon, all the siblings acted like one big family.
Nicole knew that Layla would fit perfectly with others when she adopted her. The shelter puppy became the spunkiest puppy in the family. She loved to annoy the couple’s pet cat and take all of Lady’s toys. The little one grunted and growled and was still learning how to be a dog. Layla had now learned how to climb up and go down the stairs. She liked being petted and loved her parents unconditionally.
