For over a decade now, Hope for Paws has been rescuing abandoned dogs. This incredible non-for profit was started by Eldad and Audrey Hagar. It focuses on rescuing dogs that have been abandoned or abused and finding them loving homes.
This video stars Dougie. Dougie was booted out onto the streets by owners who didn’t want him anymore. While alone with no one to care for him he injured his leg and contracted mange.
Eldad heard of the dog from a friend and went out to find him. Dougie was incredibly wary with Eldad, but it turns out that a starving dog just can’t turn down a cheeseburger. So Eldad gained the dogs trust and was able to get the dog to help that it needed. This video will bring a smile to your face.
