When Hurricane Katrina struck in 2005 in New Orleans, people were not prepared for the destruction it would bring. People were evacuated out of their flooding homes out of fear for their lives. But this man decided to stand his ground. Rescue crews told Donald Harris that he had to come with them and leave everything behind, including his dog, Theory.
There was no way Donald was going to abandon Theory in the flood. He stayed, putting his life in jeopardy until people came that helped him and his dog.
