When the inspiring and lovable Takis first found this rescue, she was chained up outside and just skin and bones. But the moment she saw her new friend, her tail started wagging furiously.
Takis bent down and told the friendly dog that she was going to be okay, and if you have ever seen one of Takis’s rescues before, you know that she was in good hands.
The second Takis took her away from the fence where someone had chained her up, she was ecstatic, jumping and leaping around with joy. It was as if she could not believe that she was free at last.
She was even happier when she got into Takis’s car and met two new canine friends who would accompany her back to Takis Shelter where she would receive everything she needed.
Once she was back at the shelter in Crete, she became a little nervous about her canine next-door neighbors. But when she saw all the food spread out for her, she started munching.
At the shelter, she had access to all the medical care she needed, food, water, a warm doghouse to hide inside and a section of the yard to roam around as she pleased.
Takis was hopeful that the rescued dog would find a home soon, but in the meantime, she had everything she could ever need, including the love of a kind man.
