While walking in a forest, a man saw a wild pony stuck between some branches. The man slowly approached the pony to see what he could do.
The forest is usually a quiet area, so finding the pony in this predicament was a big surprise. After closer inspection, it seemed the pony had been there for quite some time.
The pony’s hooves were covered in mud, and it seemed that he tried to dig into the ground after getting stuck. There were a lot of branches that created a mess on the forest floor.
Most wild animals would be scared or anxious with a person around, but this pony appeared calm. The man was doing an excellent job of being gentle and helpful.
He approached the pony slowly and tried to move the small branches away. That’s when he realized he wouldn’t be able to help with the tools he had on him.
The man drove home and retrieved a saw. An hour later, he came back to the branch and started to cut bits and pieces away from it one at a time.
Eventually, the big branch under the pony fell to the ground. The animal was able to walk away and stretch his legs. The pony was obviously hungry and thirsty and drank and ate nearby.
