Amy Haden woke up one day to find a dog relaxing on her patio furniture. Her daughter told her that there was a dog outside, and it wasn’t one of theirs.
Every morning, Amy gets up early and gets ready for work. At first, Amy thought her daughter was referring to one of her dogs. She looked outside and was surprised by a mysterious canine.
The stray dog had made himself at home. Amy would eventually get help from people online who named the dog Walker. He had taken residence at Amy’s house.
Walker didn’t leave, and he was outside every day. Amy asked around in her community to find his owner. She posted online and took him to the vet, where they found no chip.
There was no clue to where Walker had come from. He was terrific but didn’t get along with her other pets. A month later, Amy needed to find a more permanent solution for Walker.
Amy and her family were not looking for another pet, and Walker needed a place where he could truly feel at home. Thankfully Amy found someone who wanted to take in Walker.
Walker found a new home with a new person. Amy said the woman was super sweet, and the lady had been praying for a dog like Walker. He was her prayers fulfilled.
