Depending on where you live, you may not get the opportunity to see wild animals in their natural habitats, especially giant leatherback turtles. During a once-in-a-lifetime experience, a few people were able to watch a beautiful turtle relax on the sandy shore.
When they’re not on land, leatherback turtles spend most of their time in the depths of the ocean cruising around for food. This old animal came back onto the sand and appeared to be relaxing and gazed off with deep thoughts.
After spending some time kicking back on the beach, it was time for this lady to get back to her home in the ocean. It takes several attempts, but she eventually paddles her way back into the water.
It doesn’t take long before a wave takes her away, and she submerges under the surface. It’s incredible that this was all caught on camera from such a close point of view. It’s up to us to keep the land and ocean clean to help these animals live a long and healthy life.
