Hope For Paws got a message about a Pit Bull abandoned at fast food restaurant, and they sent out JoAnn Wiltz and Alex Babcock to rescue her.
When Wiltz and Babcock arrived at the location, they saw the stray dog lying down in front of a dumpster shed. They greeted the Pit Bull good morning and got out of their car.
Frightened by the newcomers, the Pit Bull fled and took refuge inside the dumpster shed. The trash collectors arrived right after Wiltz and Babcock did.
Rescue of the Pit Bull had to be done quickly to retrieve the trash. Wiltz and Babcock entered the shed, and the dog hid behind one of the dumpsters.
The Pit Bull had a charming face, and they offered her food to gain her trust. She started joyfully wagging her tail, and they were able to get close to her.
A leash was placed around the Pit Bull, but they couldn’t pull her out because she was still scared of the garbage truck. After the vehicle moved away from the shed, they moved the dog out.
Wiltz and Babcock received happy wet kisses from the Pit Bull and decided to name her Kisses. They brought her to the shelter for a bath and playtime. Kisses was loving and affectionate to everyone.
