Adorable day old miniature horse goes outside for the very first time!

It’s amazing how we view horses to be huge and splendid creatures, used to carry warriors on their backs in ancient days. Well, fast forward to April 22, 2010 and you’ll meet Einstein, a miniature newborn horse that broke records.

Weighing only 6 pounds and standing 14 inches high, he was inducted into the Guinness Book of World Records for being the smallest horse ever. He had a healthy birth with his mother looking adorably at this little guy. Even the breeders and owners were surprised at his little size, and you can see in the video how he is being cared for and cuddled by his loving humans.

Isn’t he just SO CUTE? I love the way he experiences his first contact with the outside world when he is taken outside the barn for the first time when he is just a day old. Watch his test his day old legs and prance around as his mom looks protectively on.

He’s so tiny; he’s carried out by his human to the grassy area outside the barn…. Yes, he’s THAT SMALL! I’m sure this guy will be wanted everywhere for photo sessions! I would love to stand next to him just so I can look taller. LOL.
