In another instance of kindness between species, one adult goose showed empathy to a puppy who had been abandoned by its mother soon after birth. The puppy was shivering with the cold weather.
Goose and dog together, forever. This unusual situation of friendship between the bird and the canine population is not as strange as first might seem.
The goose gently folded her wings around this baby and moved the puppy closer so he could benefit from her body warmth. Eventually, the puppy stopped shivering and went to sleep, protected by the goose.
We are happy to report that shortly after these photos were uploaded to Facebook, the puppy and the goose were adopted together and now have formed a lasting friendship in a home environment. Now they are inseparable.
