Bellini is a beautiful, gentle Pitbull who was an only child. Then her parents brought home two kittens. The orange kittens emerged from their carriers one by one and smelled Bellini all over.
It didn’t take long for the kittens to realize this big dog was perfectly safe. Bellini took to one of the cats more than the other. Grappa is the chill boy, and Scotch is a curious, sneaky girl.
Bellini and Grappa immediately hit it off. The kitten decided that the Pitbull was his mama. Even then, it still took a bit of time for the snuggles to really begin.
The Pitbull would lie very still, low to the ground where the kittens were so that they would know she was safe to cuddle. Grappa started wanting to be with Bellini all the time, thinking of the big dog as his mother.
Grappa became Bellini’s shadow, following her everywhere. They would go on adventures and have a friend to play with while the humans are away.
Every day, Bellini cleans Grappa’s entire body. She licks his legs and tummy, but eventually, she cleans him all over. The pitbull even puts the cat’s entire head into her mouth. The first time Bellini did that, her human parents held their breath, but Grappa purred like crazy, so they figured it was safe. Bellini just wants to make sure Grappa’s clean.
Grappa’s there to help Bellini get clean, too. The pitbull hates to take baths, so Grappa lies right by the shower every time to keep Bellini calm. Then he celebrates with the dog when the bath is finally over. The kitten is Bellini’s support animal, and she is Grappa’s mama.
