A homeless dog was discovered in a shabby state and utterly terrified alongside the freeway. Lying amidst the rubble, the little one lay until Hope For Paws rescuers arrived to do what they do best. The poor pooch was scared of humans beyond belief.

While the rescue itself is unforgettable, what is equally as touching is the passing truck driver who takes the time to give Barbie some water. There is always time to care, and special people like him remind us in the most wonderful way.
